At Sawmill Housing Co-op, we welcome individuals and families seeking stable, affordable housing. To ensure a good fit, applicants should meet the following criteria:

–  Income Eligibility: Gross monthly household income must not exceed the maximum for the applicable unit type.
–  Household Size: The number of bedrooms must correspond with your household size.
–  Affordability: Monthly housing charges will not exceed a set percentage of gross income.
–  Credit & References: Applicants must pass credit and reference checks.
–  Residency: Canadian citizenship or residency status is required.

How to Apply

Step 1.

Download the form and email it to sawmill@fsbc.ca. Please don’t forget to provide the supporting documents.

Step 2.

In addition to the application form, you will also be required to provide the following supporting documents.

  • Proof of Residency
  • Most recent Notice of Assessment
  • The three most recent pay stubs or a letter from the employer
  • The three most recent bank statements

Step 3.

After processing your application, which includes income and reference checks, a staff member will contact you to set up an interview, co-op living orientation and an in-person or virtual tour.

Step 4.

If your application is approved, you will receive a welcome package, move-in information and keys.
